OUR MISSION:
Founded in 2007 at the initiative of the french Ministry of Research and Higher Education, the Fondation FondaMental focuses its efforts on four major conditions:
- bipolar disorders
- schizophrenia
- treatment-resistant depression
- autism spectrum disorders without intellectual disability
Supporting research for mental disorders means:
- Improving diagnostic precision,
- Accelerating therapeutic innovation,
- Enhancing care for millions of patients.
We also empower families and caregivers with tools to better support their loved ones and contribute to a more inclusive society.
Brain imaging, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, environmental and genetic risk factors… all of these innovative tools are helping psychiatric research advance, bringing more precise diagnoses, personalized treatments, and real hope.
